Welcome!
At FI Road Trip, I write about two passions that intersect in our family’s life: personal finance and travel.
As our family pursues financial independence we maintain a focus on our income: spending, budgets, pre-tax/post-tax saving, etc. However, we have specifically prioritized travel as we aim to show our two sons that there is more to this world than southeastern Pennsylvania and the occasional trip to the “shore”.
Finding the right balance is not always easy and this blog is my attempt to provide insight into our learnings, successes, and failures to hopefully pay it forward in return for the many others who have helped us along the way.
